Coastal Transport in conjunction with Transport Canada has implemented the following safety measures as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
On the Grand Manan ferry service.
Essential Travel Only.
Passengers will be questioned before loading the vessel.
Passengers who have a cough and a fever, who have a sore throat and a fever, who are the subject of a provincial or local public health order, or who been refused boarding in the past 14 days due to a medical reason related to COVID-19,
Will be denied access to the vessel for a period of up to 14 days.
Giving false answers or refusing to answer may result in being banned from the vessels and or fines according to Provincial and Federal regulations.
Only passengers required to quarantine are permitted on the vehicle deck.
On the Deer Island and White Head Island ferry services.
Essential travel only.
All Passengers are required to stay in their vehicles at all times unless there is an emergency.
