Notice of Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Village of Grand Manan is considering the adoption of a Rural Plan in accordance with the New Brunswick Community Planning Act, SNB 2017, c. 19. A Rural Plan provides guidance and standards for the safe and sustainable development of land.

Village Council is requesting the feedback of residents on the Rural Plan and will review all feedback at a Public Hearing at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the Village Office.

The proposed Rural Plan may be inspected at the Village of Grand Manan Office during regular business hours or by requesting a digital copy from the Village Office via the contact information provided at the end of this notice. Written submissions for or against the proposed Rural Plan will be received until 4:30 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2022. Those wishing to present their feedback in person at the Public Hearing are encouraged to register with the Village previous to the meeting time.
