Welcome to our new website. Hopefully you will find this to be a useful tool in keeping informed about Grand Manan. You will notice that we have an upcoming events page that allows us to post events for the public to see. If you have any event that you would like posted please contact the Village Office. You will also notice that the Agendas and Minutes for the Council meeting have been posted.  I will be posting the Agenda for July's Council meeting on Friday July 3, 2009.

The next Council meeting is on Monday July 6, 2009 at 7:30pm. It will be at the new Grand Manan Community Centre. We are very excited to be moving to our new location. Hopefully by next week we will be moving.

I am also adding pictures to the website. If you have any local pictures of events or Grand Manan please email them to me and I would be happy to post them for you.

The next Regular Council Meeting will be August 10, 2009 at 7:30pm. It will be at the Village Office (Grand Manan Community Centre). If you have any items that you would like placed on the agenda please submit them to the Village Office by Tuesday August 4 at 12:00pm.

The Village Office will be closed on Monday August 3rd for New Brunswick Day. It will reopen on Tuesday August 4th at 9:00am.

The Christmas Tree lighting this year will be on December 13 at 7:30pm. We will be having it at the Grand Manan Community Center. There will be refreshments and music for the whole family to enjoy. We will also be collecting non-perishable food items for the food bank. Please remember those in need this season and bring along a donation.
